Assisted Campership Program

The Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA strives to support all segments of the communities we serve.  Within our available resources, every   effort will be made to accommodate all who wish to participate in our programs and services.  No one is denied access to any Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA program or service solely on inability to pay the full fee.  Campership Assistance is available to those individuals and families that are unable, not unwilling, to pay the full fee.

Applying for an assisted campership

Those interested in applying need to provide proof of monthly income.  Complete the form,  attach copy of completed camp registration form.  You will be contacted within five days to establish an interview time to finalize your application.

Preparing for the interview

• Your interview will be a personal assessment of your financial situation.  The interview will be confidential and private.
• Please be prepared to discuss which camps interest you.
• We also ask that you bring a void cheque.  All payments must be completed 2 weeks prior to the start of camp.
• Please arrive a few minutes early for the interview.  Failure to arrive on time may result in rescheduling your appointment.
