The Y Strong Kids Campaign
The Y provides financial assistance to hundreds of kids and families every year. The Strong Kids Campaign raises much needed financial support for children, teens and families who are unable to afford the full cost of participation in a Kamloops Y program or activity.

Creating a hopeful future means giving kids the chance to reach their full potential. Y programs like After School Care, camps, swim lessons and facility memberships have been shown to significantly enhance the health and well-being of young people.

100% of your donation helps support kids and families.

• $25 lets a girl experience the Power of Being a Girl conference, helping build self-esteem and confidence.
• $30 per month gives an at-risk teen access to a safe and healthy place to go through a Y membership.
• $36 teaches a child to swim.
• $150 keeps a child active and engaged in a week long Y summer day camp. 
• $800 helps a teen build self-confidence and leadership skills at Camp Deka.
