In May 2023, the Province of BC passed the Pay Transparency Act. This policy helps employers, like YMCA BC, to have an equitable approach when it comes to compensation for our employees and ensure there are no differences in pay based on gender.
Under this new legislation, YMCA BC is required report annually on pay transparency in alignment with the Pay Transparency Act.
YMCA BC is committed to creating a workplace community where all employees feel valued, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.
