A child care business can operate as a licensed or unlicensed facility. In B.C., child care providers must have a license if they look after more than 2 children, or 1 sibling group, who are not related to them. If you are interested in operating a child care in your home, we can help! The CCRR can provide training and support with the process. Licensed and Registered child care programs provide parents with peace of mind because they meet provincial government requirements, and give care providers access to resources, support, and continuing education so they can continue to offer quality child care.
